The Switch to Thumbzup app is a temporary solution available for a limited time exclusively for existing Absa customers. This app enables customers currently integrated with older versions of the Payment Pebble® Companion API to continue processing payments until they transition to the latest Thumbzup Companion API.

The app is compatible with the Payment Pebble® Audio device, a compact and secure card reader. It facilitates sales, refunds, electronic debit order approval, and provides convenient access to daily statements.

Customers are advised to transition to the latest Thumbzup Companion API promptly to install and commence using the new Thumbzup PAY app (now available on the Google Play Store - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thumbzup.payment.appstore). This updated app supports both the Payment Pebble® Audio and the new Payment Pebble® Air.

How to use the app:

1. Install the Switch to Thumbzup app on your smartphone or tablet
2. Uninstall any older Absa Payment Pebble apps
3. Connect the Payment Pebble® Audio to your device's audio jack
4. Follow the instructions within the app to link your Merchant ID
5. Login and start using the app!
